Akerkvartalet surrounds a square where two wide staircases lead down to a 700-square-meter atrium that will serve as the entrance to the future Fornebubanen station. When you ascend the stairs from the station, you gaze up at Aker Tech House, the jewel of Akerkvartalet, with its impressive glass facade and spectacular golden staircase.

Today, the area hosts dozens of skilled companies in modern and attractive premises designed to facilitate collaboration.

Akerkvartalet has developed into a space that thrives beyond office hours, offering a wide range of services and amenities, from restaurants and bars to shops, entertainment, fitness centers, and healthcare services. The landscaped park provides beautiful green outdoor areas and artistic experiences in Scandinavia's largest ceramic sculpture park, created by Magne Furuholmen. The park is the largest collection of sculptural works by a Norwegian artist since Vigeland Park.
